Destiny 2: Edge of Fate

Description

It’s not every day you get the opportunity to work on and design a cinematic set in 1960s America, so this project felt particularly special. Diving into the visual details of the era and finding references, researching interior architecture, colours, patterns, props and clothes really was a dream come true. Goodbye Kansas concept artists went above and beyond in bringing the vision to life. Their ability to meticulously visualize and detail the office environments made the setting feel rich, immersive, and believable. One of the sequences that stands out the most for me is the moment in the telephone room. It strikes the perfect balance between authenticity and atmosphere. I especially loved having the chance to design the containment chamber for the anomaly. Creating a space that felt unsettling, slightly off, and subtly eerie – while still grounded in the period – was a unique and rewarding challenge.
